In the visual guidance, the designers divided the space structure and used a variety of rectangles. This allowed for the exterior field arrangements from the window, creating a sense of depth and sensation between the interior and exterior spaces. The design achieved a balance between the outdoor scenery and the indoor space.
The Enframed design utilized Lotos plaster, which is made from Taiwan's reservoir silt and construction remaining materials. This material helps control humidity and absorb dust, while also reacting to the exterior scenery. The design specifications for this residential house are 16 square meters.
The project started in August 2018 and was completed in November 2018 in Taiwan. The designers conducted research on the natural park located beside the site, which provided inspiration and a research background. The local culture and habitation were explored through hiking and enjoying the night view.
The main challenge faced during this design was working within the limitations of the space and budget. However, the designers were able to overcome these challenges and create a space that maximizes the available area.
This studio dedicated itself to simplifying design and developing materials. Through visual guidance, the designers divided the structures and used various scales of rectangles to create maximum space in limited places. The material application was also significant, with special coating on the living room's wall to absorb vapor and odor, and eco joint wood boards for stress relief.
This design was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2019 for its well-designed, practical, and innovative approach. It meets professional and industrial requirements, integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics. The Enframed design contributes to a better world by providing fulfillment and positive feelings.
